Custom websites for solo attorneys, small law firms, and multi-practice legal groups who need clients from Google, not just referrals from other lawyers.

Someone just typed “personal injury lawyer near me” into Google, tapped the first result, and landed on your site. They were in an accident last week, the insurance company is calling, and they need to talk to a lawyer today. You have about five seconds before they hit the back button and call the next firm on the list.
Big Apple Media builds and redesigns custom WordPress sites for attorneys, law firms, and legal practices. Design, development, copy, and search setup all happen in-house. No subcontractors, no offshore builds, no account manager relaying messages.
Practice area pages, not one long list of services. Personal injury, criminal defense, family law, estate planning, immigration, real estate, business law. Each practice area gets its own page so each one can rank on its own and speak to one person with one legal problem.
We build for other professional services too, including therapists and mental health practices and dental practices.
Attorneys get sold the same template every other professional service gets, with a stock photo of a gavel and a “Schedule a Consultation” button that goes nowhere useful. That does not work. Someone with a pending criminal charge or a custody hearing next month is not browsing. They are searching on a phone, comparing three firms in the same ten minutes, and choosing the one that answers their questions fastest.
The questions are short. Do you handle my type of case. Have you done this before. How fast can I talk to someone. What does it cost. A site that answers those four things immediately will beat a fancier site that buries them behind a generic contact form.
According to iLawyer Marketing’s 2025 consumer study, 87% of people still use Google when deciding which law firm to hire. And 74% of prospective clients research a firm’s website before making a call. Your site is your intake desk. If it doesn’t work, the phone doesn’t ring.
That means practice area pages that rank for “[practice area] + [city]” searches, attorney bio pages that build trust before the first phone call, intake forms that capture case details your staff needs for screening, and a layout that works on a phone screen at 9pm when someone just got served with papers.
We connect to the tools you already run. Clio, MyCase, PracticePanther, Lawmatics, Smokeball, Calendly. Your case management, intake, and scheduling pipeline stay where they are. We build the site around your firm’s workflow instead of asking you to replace it.
Consultation offers that actually get clicked. Most attorney sites bury the free consultation offer in a footer nobody scrolls to. We put it in the header, on every practice area page, and in a sticky mobile bar, then track how many visitors fill it out so you know whether the offer is pulling its weight.
Attorney bio pages that build credibility. A name, a headshot, and a list of bar admissions is not enough. Prospective clients want to know you’ve handled cases like theirs. We build bio pages that show practice focus, case results, education, and a direct way to get in touch, because 74% of people research a firm’s website before calling.
Pricing guidance where clients look for it. Two questions come up on every intake call. How much does this cost, and do you offer payment plans. Both get addressed on-page, including fee structure explanations and a clear description of your consultation process, so nobody has to call just to figure out if they can afford you.
Practice area pages that rank. One page per practice area, written for the person searching that exact thing. A page about personal injury in your city brings you personal injury leads. A page about criminal defense in your county brings you criminal defense leads. A single “Practice Areas” page listing everything brings you nobody.
Local search set up from day one. Your Google Business Profile, your service area pages, and the on-page work that gets you into map results. Law firms in Google’s local 3-pack get 70% of clicks from local searches, and the map pack decides who gets the phone call. More on that in our local SEO tips for increasing conversions.
No sales call required. Send the details and you’ll get a real answer within one business day.
Different types of law practices have different needs. No matter your focus, we understand how people search for legal help and what makes them pick up the phone.
The site needs to sound like your firm, load fast, and let you update practice areas and attorney bios without calling anyone. We build it so you can update your case results, and change your consultation availability in about two minutes.
More practice areas means more pages. Each area gets its own landing page that ranks for that practice area plus your city, with the right attorney assigned, the right bar information, and a schedule that your intake team can update.
Estate planning and business law clients search differently. They're researching, comparing, and looking for someone who explains complex legal processes in plain language. These sites need clear service explanations and trust signals that match a longer decision cycle.
We have been building websites since 2001. That means fewer surprises, faster decisions, and a process that has already survived whatever your project throws at it.
Design, development, content, and SEO all happen here. Nothing goes to a contractor, an offshore team, or a junior account manager reading your messages back to you.
Google Analytics, Search Console, call tracking, and form submission tracking set up before launch. You see which pages bring leads and which ones are dead weight.
Template-based builds for tight budgets, fully custom when the project calls for it. We tell you what you actually need instead of quoting the biggest number we think you will pay.
If something is not right, we fix it. No change order, no invoice, no argument about whether it was in scope.
Email or call and you get a real answer, usually the same day. No ticket queue, no automated reply telling you where you sit in line.
We walk you through editing your own pages, adding posts, and updating content. You own the site and you can run it without calling us for every small change.
Your website exists to book new consultations and generate intake calls. We measure the work by signed clients and rankings, not by how the homepage looks in a portfolio.
No twelve month lock-in, no cancellation penalties. Clients stay because the work is good, which is the only reason worth staying for.
We take pride in our work and the quality of our service. These web design company reviews from real clients reflect our commitment to delivering exceptional web design solutions.

I own a small Concierge Home Care company in AZ. Big Apple Media did an excellent job recreating my website in a timely manner. Taking the time to do a detailed sitemap and framework was well thought out and a necessary change that this company understood. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a website upgrade.
We follow a proven process to create custom websites that deliver results. From the first call through design, development, and launch, we work with you at every step. Our process is transparent and you always know where the project stands.
We learn about your firm, your ideal client, and the practice areas you want filling your calendar.
We map the pages, then design a custom look built around how prospective clients find and contact an attorney.
Fast, clean, mobile-tested on every screen size, and built to load in under three seconds before anyone sees it.
We go live together, then stick around for hosting, updates, and fixes.
Attorney websites based on templates start at $2,500 and cover responsive design, basic SEO setup, contact forms, and an attorney bio section. Custom builds for law firms in competitive markets run $3,000 to $7,000 depending on the number of practice area pages, attorney profiles, and features like client portals or appointment scheduling. You get a fixed number before any work starts, and there are no long-term contracts.
Most projects take six to eight weeks. A smaller attorney site can be done in about four if your content is ready and the build is straightforward.
A complicated design adds time, and so does every round of revisions.
The biggest hold-up is content. If your bios, headshots, and case results aren’t ready, the project stalls. Firms that have everything ready before we start designing launch much faster.
Fill out Quote Form and a short description of what you need. You’ll get a general quote it would take. Usually within two business days. No discovery call required before you see pricing, and no obligation once you have it.
Ask three things. Who is actually building the site, not who is on the sales call. What happens to your rankings during a redesign. And whether you own the site outright when it launches. Any answer that involves a proprietary platform you cannot leave is a reason to walk.
Yes. Everything is built in WordPress with Elementor, and you get a walkthrough covering how to add a page, swap photos, update hours, and publish a post. Most clients handle their own content changes within a week of launch.
Yes. Domain, hosting account, WordPress install, design, and content. All yours. If you decide to work with someone else later, the site goes with you.
Yes, billed separately from any development work. Most maintenance clients host with us because it puts the server, the WordPress install, and the person fixing things in one place. If you are happy with your current host, keep it. Rates are on the pricing page.
Not if the migration is handled properly. Rankings drop when old URLs get deleted without redirects or when pages that already rank get rewritten. Every redesign here starts with a ranking baseline and a one-to-one redirect map, and we monitor Search Console daily for 30 days after launch.
Most attorneys don’t want to write copy, and that’s fine. We give you a page-by-page outline so you can fill in the details about your practice areas, case results, and process. If you’d rather not write it, we can handle the copy at additional cost. Existing content that already ranks stays, and we edit rather than rewrite it.
We do both, as separate projects. Every website includes the SEO basics: clean URL structure, heading hierarchy, title tags and meta descriptions, schema markup, analytics and Search Console setup, and on-page work for the pages we build. That is what gets your site indexed correctly.
What it does not include is the ongoing work that moves rankings: keyword research, content strategy, competitor analysis, link building, and month-to-month work. That is a separate service many clients add once the site is live. Plenty of firms launch and handle their own marketing from there.
Yes. Most clients are across the US, not just New York. The work happens over calls, screen shares, and email, so location rarely matters.
Yes. Most of the work is healthcare practices, home service pros, and professional services like attorneys, accountants, and consultants. They all sell the same way: someone searches with a problem, lands on your site, and decides in seconds whether to call. Outside those industries we take projects when the fit is right. Fill out a quote form and we will let you know if we can help.
Those platforms sell your profile alongside every other attorney in your market. You pay monthly, you compete on price, and you have zero control over how your firm is presented. Your own website brings in leads who searched for you or your services specifically. They cost less to sign because they already chose you before they called. 65% of law firms say their website brings the highest return on investment compared to any other marketing channel.
Send us your URL. We’ll go through your current site to see what’s not working, what’s costing you traffic & leads, and let you know what you can do about it. No pressure, no obligation.
